Dwight Griffith, the DTR Group’s founder, ran an award winning, nationally recognized custom home building business for 41 years. Having witnessed the ups and downs of the building business and the harsh effects it has on the hardworking families, Mr. Griffith decided he would do whatever he could to help others become financially independent as well.
Consequently, he made a decision in 2014 to leave the building business to help others. In 2018, at age 61, Mr. Griffith has begun a new phase of his life with a purpose and mission – to provide financial education and help hardworking middle class Americans become debt free, properly protected and financially independent.
The Need:
- Average American household credit card debt is close to $16,000
- More than two-thirds in the US live paycheck to paycheck
- 23% of workers say they are not confident about having enough money saved for retirement
- 40% of American workers have $500 or less in savings
- 60% of workers say they have less than $25,000 in savings and investments for retirement
Business owners and upper management in the business world have accountants, lawyers, tax advisors, and stock brokers guiding their financial future. Middle class Americans, the back bone of our country, should have access to the same information to help them be smarter with money and be able to plan and save to turn all their dreams to reality
